Will Pony be adopting the same bat regs as LL as well? Eliminating the $500 juiced bats is long overdue.

Draft or evenly splitting the talent should be a no-brainer. I understand the desire to choose your coach/teammates, but for the health of the league, teams like the Boilers are bad.

Yes all bats must include the new USABat stamp effective January 1.

My guess is the city Pony league will adopt the new bat rules for the 2018 season, but I don't think they will adopt either the age rule or pitch count for the coming season. Obviously, they will comply if any teams or an all star team goes to Pony WS qualifier, but half the league next year will be baseball age 15 under the new guidelines.

And the kids that turn 13 in the summer will be in LL for one more year.
