Speaking of Portage Girls, heard a rumor they're electing to play up to 5A, AAAAA, that's 5 A's! for the next cycle. Probably to avoid the Bishops and Forest Hills. Thoughts? Does this set a precident for others in the future to move around in hopes of a fast track to a D6 title?

Where have you been? We already had a long discussion on this lol

Maybe just a touch of both? The boys can be hot/ cold, witness their pounding by Johnstown, then flipping the switch against Richland at home. This tournament on paper looked to be total mismatches for the other 3 teams. Mt. Pleasant had 1 Sr on their roster and was winless coming in. North Star as mentioned had a nice guard tandem, Zuchelli can shoot the trey! On the girls side of this, IMHO the difference was team speed. The Westpac teams haven't seen speed esp. from the guards, like the LHAC has night in and night out. FH overplays on D, double-teaming and getting steals that lead to transition easy baskets, and when they are on, can hit the 3 as well as anyone. They still miss Cecere to 'bring it all together', but they are looking a bit better. Can the Rangers look to get into another Holiday Tournament for next year? 4 years in a row now, boys and girls, Boswell champs against 1 and 2A teams. How does this help you get better? Maybe Tom Callihan will invite them next year to the proposed War Memorial Tournament.
The world as we know it underwent a rebirth 11-8-16. Conservatives have made themselves heard!
Forest Hills girls are pretty legit, they have four starters back off of last year's team that was really good - no surprises with how they have started the season. The boys team has been playing well to this point, maybe a tad better than expected. They handed Richland its only loss to this point, which is pretty noteworthy.
