Central Coaching Job

Postby LovetoHunt » June 13th, 2019, 9:44 am

Hearing Central opened all basketball coaching positions. Talented group of 6th through 10th grade coming up through the system and should be an attractive job (even though following Nevins could be tough). The saying goes that you always want to follow a loser and not a legend...…….but...…...if there is talent and you win then it should be easier to follow a legend.    Who will go after this job ???

The Altoona mirror article seemed to indict that they always open the positions every year and Nevins was going to reapply for the job.  Would be surprised if he wasn’t rehired after reading that article.

Nevins will not reapply and job will be awarded to current assistant Paul Frederick. Well deserved.
