Good combination of solid pitching and solid hitting. Let's go Giants!! Maybe we can climb to 3 1/2 back. Will be tough to get Verlander.

McCutchen just left with an injury, so that might take care of the season by itself.

Or he could be fine.

Let's panic anyway.

Really rough night for Refsnyder from Toronto.  Two errors in the 3rd inning which could have been double plays, instead, resulted in no outs.  This lead to 4 unearned runs for the Bucs.  Then he struck out 4 times, including two crucial times with men on base.  Once with two outs and the bases loaded to kill a rally, and once with one out and a guy on third against Kontos.  His last strike out ended the game.  that is as bad of a game as you can have.   The pirates took advantage of it though.

Wow, that really is a rough night.

Cutch went to Twitter last night and said he's fine.  Hopefully that's the case, they can't afford to have him miss any extended time.
