Not to recruits and donors sadly

I'm interested to see what will happen with Stallings, it's not even enjoyable to watch right now. I think there's a chance he won't make it to next season.

He'll get five years to get his own players to play his system.  That's the stock line from Pitt football fans who crave stability.

I hope he turns it around, but I don't see him making his six year contract here in Pittsburgh.

That’s what happens when to tear it all down and start over.

I crave stability for Pitt, but not with this guy.  He was a very, very bad hire.  He is going to make the Ralph Willard years look great

Yeah they made a bad hire, that's all it really comes down to.  Pitt went from a perennial top 15 team from 2003-2011 and selling out every game, to barely getting anyone to show up and losing to Navy and Montana.  The administration just isn't going to allow it to keep happening.

When you tear it down you have to hire a coach that was about to get fired at Vanderbilt and give him a six year deal instead of hiring someone like Will Wade?

As Coach K said about Kevin Stallings in his second season: "They (Pitt) are building a team. You're talking about building a program. These guys are getting playing time. I see them as a building program and a good one".

Hope he's right. Coaches don't often throw other members of the coaching fraternity under the bus however.
