Just want to see how much confidence PSU has in their leader. Low salary increase shows worry about a buy back, especially if the Nits don't make the Tournament this year. The natives will be restless.

Jeff Capel has now landed the 35th best recruiting class in the country. He landed more top 150 prospects in two months than Kevin Stallings did in two years. Really impressed with what he has done thus far. It's looking like Pitt's 2019 class could be one of their best in a really long time, I'm pretty confident with some of the players he's after. Two of which are two of the top 60 high school recruits in the country.

Seems to be a good buzz around the program for the first time in years.

Lets hope the FBI doesnt follow the former duke assistant to pittsburgh....

Eitherway a whole lot better than stallings. Pitt can see some light in the sky now

With things a little slow on Bleachercoaches right now, thought this might help. Maybe you guys haven't heard this, or have chosen to ignore it, but PSU forward Mike Watkins was charged this past Monday with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Preliminary hearing set for July 11th. Also, been almost TWO months since Pat Chambers got his 3 year contract extension. Still no word on the terms (including salary) of that contract.

Once the state releases its tax returns, you'll be able to find out what Franklin, Narduzzi, Capel, and Chamers make.  Pitt and Penn State don't really disclose contract details.

Pretty soon Moldo is going to report where Chamber goes for dinner and base his salary around that...

Everybody pays the same prices at restaurants for the same items on the menu. But it's the TIP that might tell us his base salary. How we gonna find that out?

Just did a little research. Third times a charm. This is the third time Watkins has been in trouble at PSU in the last 2 years. In Sept 2016 he was charged with criminal mischief and ordered to pay $3000 in fines and fees. Then in July 2017, he got into a fight which led him to miss PSU's B-Ball tour of the Bahamas and was suspended for the first regular season game that year. And of course, we now have the above possession of drug paraphrenalia issue. YOY!!

Yeah man, a grinder was found in his gym bag. I don’t think anyone but you cares.
