He is in the finals because one conference is marginally worse than the other.....

So you do not get the best teams at all, which was part one of your point. If he was in the west the only championships he might ever of won or made it to would be the miami days. When he had to build himself a super team to get it done

It took lebron and the cavs 7 games to beat a team who has their 2 best players out and not even playing.

In fact if teams were healthy the best teams would probably be boston and houston instead we have a boring rematch

The team with the best basketball player on the planet is playing the only NBA team with four all-stars. So once again, the NBA get it's best players to the Finals better than other sports. Arguing against that, is just arguing for the sake of arguing.

The Predators made the Stanley Cup Finals last year, they were an eight seed. That just couldn't happen in the NBA. In hockey, you can get hot and get some bounces and have superb goaltending. In basketball, there's nowhere to hide, the best players have to perform. That's why we keep getting the same matchups. The best players are performing.

Two best players?  You can't count a guy who hadn't played all year.  Irving has been out since March.  Kevin Love didn't play in Game Seven.

There is nothing exciting about Houston.  An SI article last week essentially said Houston has three guys who don't move on offense.

For what it's worth I'd have liked to have seen OKC-Philadelphia.  Or Wizards-Pelicans.  Or Raptors-Jazz.  The West really isn't all that.

And somehow that same team was the top team in the NHL, proving they were the best.

Also whats funny is there are no 8 seeds anymore in hockey so I now know crimson is just pulling at straws.

I cant think of any other league where the one conference champion would probably be the 5th or 6th best team in the other conference. Almost every expert is picking warriors in 5, which means we are no where near getting the best TEAMS

The second wild card is.......the 8th and final team to make the playoffs and has to play the first place team.

18 of 19 the west has been better. You literally cant sit here and act like the NBA does something amazing when in reality 1 conference has literally been miles ahead of the other for almost 20 years
