Pat Barron at Westmont was not happy, took issue to D6, but game will be played at Richland.  This came from Westmont assistant.

-IF- Pat Barron would have won 2 weeks ago, then he could have called the shots.  Thats the name of the game, win and get the HOME choice.
The world as we know it underwent a rebirth 11-8-16. Conservatives have made themselves heard!

D6 game at a WPIAL stadium, interesting. Geographically it makes sense.

Two of them. Ligonier at Greensburg-Salem and United at Indiana.

I figured Westmont would prefer the game to be in Sidman.

Coach will do anything for a few wins. Hire your own refs and now play on a pristine carpet to benefit his team knowing that the mud and muck would favor WH. No way FH would win in Sidman Saturday . So the Donner has the game moved to his sons schools field. Thanks son !!!

Pretty unprecedented move to have a playoff game moved to be played on turf instead of mud. I can’t believe Forest Hills is the only team to ever do it.

I bet 90% of those actually playing the game are glad the venue has been changed

The WPIAL is mandating 1st round games be played on turf instead of home sites.  Although teams like Jeannette were going to do it anyway.  The thinking, I believe, is they don't want the game determined by the elements.  They want it determined by the better team.

I stand corrected, Derry is playing on their grass field. Although they are putting a tarp on it. We had a November like this six or seven years ago and it was mandatory to play on turf. I guess earning home field you have the right to chose
