I should have said he was reduced to defense only because of that injury.

Still , he should still get the ball more. They need to be more creative in him getting the ball. Johnstown can probably go and compete highly in a lot of 7 on 7 camps, but their line play has been real suspect lately and it is holding their offense back. Hence the 6-15 record the past two years.

Very athletic but do not see how he could be such a top prospect at his size

5"10 is pretty normal for a CB, and 4.5 speed is 4.5 speed.

I'm ok with the 5"10 but the 155-160 pounds is the crazy number

They seem to have lot each year...They remind me so much of D-7 Uniontown...These schools seem like sleeping giants that should be WAY better year in and year out.

Substandard coaching and a even more substandard school district has been Johnstown's Achilles heel for decades.

One of Johnstown's biggest problems is that they are a AAA team playing a AA schedule. Even when they have a good team, they can't possibly compete at the statewide level because they don't play a challenging schedule. The group from 2010-2011 sent a lot of players to the next level and they had athleticism that could compete at a high level if they were AA, but again, they ran into a AAA team in playoffs and didn't seem well prepared to deal with it.

2014 Johnstown has some similar traits to that 2011 team, expect for the line play. They had some good, disciplined lines. Right now, they lack experience and size despite being a AAA school. Gibson is their highest recruited guys since Reed, and the Terrell Jones kid could possibly play D1 also. Updyke can sling it around, and Willie Robinson is another good receiver. I think they should be a more competitive LHAC team in 2014.

Givens from Altoona is a better prospect than Gibson and I saw Chadbourn from BG had an equal rivals rating. There are others in the same category as Gibson.

No, they aren't. Offers outweigh stars. Givens has 1 BCS level offer, Chadbourn has 0 BCS offers, and as far as I know 0 FBS offers total. Gibson has 4 BCS levels, 3 MAC too.
