Last year the single A teams did very well in the playoffs. Both CK and JV had wins and both lost to BG. No shame in that. Of course NBC won District 5. Time for the AA teams to step up. I expect Bellwood to at least win its opening round game. Need Everett beat Meyersdale. I don’t know if Southern can beat Penns Valley, but at least give them a game.

After seeing how the Heritage took the WestPAC to the woodshed this weekend, the ICC needs to follow suit in the upcoming District 5 Playoffs.  Everett-Meyersdale and Tussey-Conemaugh Twp. are the matchups in Playoff week #1.

3 playoff wins in week 11, plus JV had the bye
BA flexed defensive muscle to get a win over Heritage
JV Bye
TM dropped one to let 5A be an all WestPac final
SH stayed tough with the Mt Conf
Eve advances over W-Pac
as did CK for an all ICC QF
NB used week 11 to erase memories of 2 close home losses to finish the year with 3 straight wins
WB had the #1 from the LHAC
Alive for week 12:
BA travels to LV, #1 in Heritage (AA SF)
JV hosts CK ALL ICC 6A QF
Eve faces CR from the LHAC in 5AA Championship

Tussey losing to a west pac team. CK having issues with a West pac. Everett having issues with a west pac. ICC champ Bellwood having issues with a middle of the road Heritage team. I guess wins are wins.

CK really Struggling in the trenches last couple of weeks due to lack of size.  They match up well with JV in that department but not with their athletes.

I really thought Bellwood would destroy a 2A from the Heritage that lost to Saltsburg.  So munch for an interesting 2A semi-final unless Penns valley can give Richland a game.

I was at the Bellwood game...BA was very off last night...fumbling the football mainly....very unlike them....they will regroup and be ready for second round....every team has these sort of games.

I was too(@ Bellwood game) it’s been awhile since I have watched a BA team that couldn’t run. Their offensive line got handled last night. Hate to say , they might be in for a long night this week.
