When you protest something designed to honor our service men/women and fallen heros, you 100% make it about the military. The kneeling protest has never, ever been about the military. The fact that many think it is, is the con in my opinion. They aren't protesting people of the military. Not even close.

 If you have major D1 talent you will get recognized no matter where you play. It wasn't THAT long ago that this was procedure. Had that rule never changed, none of this would have ever happened really.

Yep, the NBA has better dialogue with their players. Adam Silver is a very good commissioner. He might be the only commissioner that doesn't get viciously booed when he makes the announcements at the draft haha.

No they are given the option of either staying in the locker room OR standing during the national anthem.
