LHAC Week Five

BIG problems on Osborne Street. Dissension in the ranks. I won't get into specifics here, but let's just say it is not a big, happy family down there. In addition, they are fast gaining a reputation as a the dirtiest team in the LHAC - they have to lead the league in personal fouls. I wouldn't be su...

Re: Is it time for 8 man football in PA?

30 years ago teams ran the ball almost exclusively , games ended much earlier and with fewer plays.  We regularly see 3 hour games now. With heavily favored passing attacks. I remember in school 20+ years ago my school might be lucky to even attempt one pass and games regularly were over in under tw...

Re: Reggie Nevins story

WOW, if a coach gets fired for those comments, that IS ridiculous. It appears he was certainly frustrated and simply spoke what was on his mind. Can't ANYBODY take criticism today without making it personal. It seems as though that committee is VERY thin-skinned.

Re: Pitt?Penn State

Unfortunately the days of PSU, Pitt & WVU regularly playing each other is over. Unless there is a major conference realignment or contraction and they end up in the same conference or play in a bowl game, those match-ups will be few and far between.

Re: Pitt?Penn State

Hank, I was at the game and what stood out more than anything is that Pitt, literally has no game breakers at the skill positions. The days of Fitzgerald, McCoy & even Conner seem VERY distant.  Penn State on the other hand, is LOADED with game breakers at ALL the skill positions.  How can you n...

Urban Meyer's time up?

Based on what happened at that school in central PA, I am surprised coach Meyer hasn't been fired yet.

PSU Football Post/Off Season

knowitall wrote:Pitt is picked 51st.  At least three ACC teams are picked to finish lower:  Wake Forest 52nd, Syracuse 54th and North Carolina 62nd.  Pitt lost to two of those teams last year and will play all three in 2018.

Thank you!!
