You knew this had to be coming. Barry and his thugs have lost the American public support now the OPM is going to attempt to steal back the momentum for Barry. Pathetic. Disagree with Barry and your a racist. One moron with a sign and everyone at town hall meetings are redneck racists wanting to kill Barry. It wouldn't be a stretch for Rhambo to have set all this up to change the subject from Obamacare to Racism.

I think your the one spinning things here OAR. From 6:30 to 7 the only thing on TV is reruns and the evening news. All year around, not just the summer. O'Reilly is the one that competes against Network TV shows and sports whereas the options from 6:30 to 7 are far less to choose from. ABC, NBC, CBS all have news and every other channel has reruns.

You can't compare O'Reilly to the network news coveage if they don't go head to head. Doesn't it make sense that his ratings go up in the summer when he is on against reruns? On the other hand, the networks go head to head each day year round. The only way O'Reilly's increase in ratings is relevant is if they continue into the fall when he's against first run shows. My guess is they'll back to where they were the same time last year.

So why does the number of viewers on CBS continue to drop?

Will they be back where they were last year in the fall? I think not.

Perhaps it is because NBC's numbers continue to rise. More and more people seem to prefer watching their news on NBC than CBS. Because the networks show their major news broadcast at the same time they must split the share of viewers. The fact that CBS is decreasing has nothing to do with what O'Reilly is doing at Fox during a completely different time slot.
