Didn’t Tyrone close today?

Re: Scott Conklin's proposed bill

I’ve said before I don’t care what happens with HS athletics in Pennsylvania.  If they split Private/Public, stay the same with how things are today, or if they do a multiplier system to force privates to account for more kids etc. I’m fine with whatever happens or does not happen.  But is it just ...

Re: Scott Conklin's proposed bill

It’s a good idea in theory, but it will never make all people happy. Look at all the complaining there was about Juniata Valley girls basketball. I don’t know why they just don’t treat private schools as a co-op, then they would be in the proper classification.

Re: Bg football propaganda machine

You act like Wheeler is calling these kids and doing visits in their home to get them to transfer. I think the only propaganda is what you’re posting.

Re: D6AA Girls

I was just looking at the standings for the District 6 AA girls tournament, and that is some kind of playoff field. There are 5, maybe 6 teams that could win the district and of those teams a few of them could probably go to Hershey.  It's crazy. There can't be many district tournaments boys or gir...

Re: LHAC update 2-5-18

Tiebreaker: If neither team(s) has ever competed in the LHAC Championship, the tie shall be broken via a coin flip. (3/4/09) Crazy to think that a potential conference champion could be decided by a coin flip. I mean really? If the teams split a 2 game series they couldn’t at least do margin of vic...

Re: LHAC Championship

That makes more sense. Other posters made it sound like the coin flip dictated the whole match. Sometimes in a close match it does. Typically you can look at a lineup and know where your points are and aren’t. But in ones where it could go either way, thats where coaches can win a coin flip and try...

Re: Scores 1-14 - 1-19

Anyone hear the final of the Bellwood vs Claysburg girls game?? I’m hearing the defending state champs got knocked off.  Bellwood won 70-68 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thanks for the update! Scorestream was lagging.  I thought coming into the year Bellwood was nearly unbeatable but that hasn...
