BG has just as much of a community as Portage and “small town teams”.   Get your facts straight before making comments 

Why is it so great for Portage to have 55 players but when BG has 50-55 they get criticized.  Konjo said it perfectly, Culture commitment and Community.  That stems from winning programs which both have achieved.   So this year when Portage beats up on a Noth Star team of 20 players, that is unfair ...

Very aware that certain private schools, take advantage of their ability to attract kids, such as St. Joe' s or imotep, just to name a couple, but not understanding why BG, is lumped in with teams like that,  yes they don't have boarders and reside in a 6A district, but someone here please name one...

The “factual list” previously given gives players who came out for the team but have still gone to BG all along.

The lineman from forest hills came out for football because they have a good team. Winning gets participation that doesn’t mean the new players have to come from elsewhere

The 2014 did not have a transfer player at all.  McGeary transferred only for his junior and senior years.  The names that have carried the team these past 3 years and this year as well have been all from parochial school since 3rd grade at least.  But many will probably say they knew they were goin...

And if you meant the game in 2014, there was not a transfer on their team. Please say more though!
