Re: Coaching Carousel

Tribune said there were 9 applicants, wouldn't these names be in the school board minutes somewhere?  Just seems like a lot of names for a position that was already rumored to be Justin Meyers when Bailey retired.

Re: Finish this statement

Between those 4 and Huntington,  pretty bare cupboards,  interesting to see how Johnstown and FH ( likely to hire from within program)  do as their staff will be familiar with the kids.   It seemed like PC was improving last year and had more kids come out , either of the rumored coaches might help ...

Re: Coaching Carousel

Was Himmer the offensive or defensive coordinator at PC? What's his coaching history besides assistant to the assistant track coach? Only person to ever coach on staff with Craig Sponsky and John Franco.  Has been around for a couple years in BC/PC programs.  Excellent with the kids, knows his x ...

Re: Successful local quarterbacks at the next level

One of the interesting ones is Colin Smith.
I thought he could have done really well as a D2 quarterback.
Should have his chance to play at Lackawanna this year. Hopefully that leads to something special.

Re: Successful local quarterbacks at the next level

Ranger Justin Myers re-wrote all the passing records @ Geneva College in the late 90's before a several year stretch as a Johnstown arena football QB, then moved to FH assistant coach, and maybe after next week.....get to try on a really big pair of shoes. Also former Rangers Brandon Bailey @ UConn...

Randy Mccavish from CC had a nice career at Slippery Rock.
Nate Crookshank had an outstanding career at Slippery Rock, still holds some records.

Re: Conemaugh Township, Forest Hills, Johnstown

Any names being thrown around for the Johnstown job?  Is Arcurio or Rich Price coming back?   Any teachers with in the system that are candidates?   Is Carlton a possibility ?  Is Wayne Wade available?  Are there any former players that might be interested and are local?
