Re: Fall Sports
The issue it seems to me is simple. It is political. If you are conservative you know that shutting businesses down, preventing people from doing things like sports for example, not allowing church services, etc. is detrimental to the American way of life. It has and will cause very high unemploymen...

Re: Proposed weight changes? Thoughts?
This is a great idea! One, it will decrease the number of forfeits that occur at many schools, including some larger ones. Who wants to pay to see 5 or 6 bouts and 8 or 9 forfeits? Two, overall there should be better wrestling because the competition will be tougher. Three, the JV teams should b...

Re: How many games attended in 2016?
I attended a record, for me, 31 games last year. It's minuscule compared to Sykotyk and maybe some others. I've also seen over 260 different teams from 7 different states in my lifetime. My goal is to hit 50 games some year, get to 400+ different teams, and see the Texas and Georgia state champio...

Re: 2016 Year In Review
Great post, Sykotyk! I've been to Lucas Oil and have to agree. It's the best place to watch football, especially the high school brand that I've been to. I'd love to go there every year. Went 4 straight until this year. District 7 needs to downsize to 3 games if they remain at Heinz. The day i...

Re: How many games attended in 2016?
I attended 31 total which was an all-time high for me. Previous high was 30. Usually in the 20+ range. I've seen over 260 different high school teams from 7 different states, but plan on doing a lot more when I retire someday including heading to Georgia and Texas for state title games. I'm sure...

Re: Beaver Falls gets a bye to Semi Finals?
I've been to Heinz at least 10 times and it's getting ridiculous with the TV timeouts. Four games are long enough, but these people think you're watching the Superbowl or something. They take a 10-11 hour day and turn it into a 13+ hour day. Three games is just fine thank you, not four. Also in ...
