Re: I have a bone to pick with Roger Beitel!

Also, we knew that our JV game was cancelled last week against Mo Valley so when we had the opportunity against Purchase Line to play everyone and we did.  Every kid that was eligible to play that night, played.  There are many different circumstances and variables that grant playing time.

Re: I have a bone to pick with Roger Beitel!

Tubmill, I was not there Friday because I am out if town for a week or so.  But I can tell you that we typically try to play everyone if we see it fit.  We also play more JV games than anyone in our conference.  We play teams like Berlin, Hollidaysburg and Burrell.  So our young guys are definitely ...

Re: big drop-off

We did not take a delay of game and then throw a TD to Tutino. Aaron Tutino played one snap in the 2nd half and he caught a wr screen that went for 9 yards and then he was promptly removed from the game. That's a fact.

That's good for him.  I'm happy for him and I totally agree.  What an experience to be a part of what's going on in Happy Valley.  Hope he takes it all in.  Creating memories and friendships that will last a lifetime, all while wearing the white helmet.  Love it!

What about Hoenstine at PSU? What's the word on him? Unbelievable talent at Central on both sides of the ball. Coached against him 3 times and he was a difference maker.

Re: Week scores..post them here

I'm not sure that theory is true. I mean Southern Columbia has been to more State Championships and has won more than anyone. The last time I checked, their regular season games are not very competitive. Heck, the year we played them in 2016 their star players didn't play defense all year until our ...

Re: Week scores..post them here

Easy there LVBigfoot.  I played at Laurel Valley and know all about the tradition.  But we're ONE district.  Not northern end and southern end.  This run we're on is all about the kids.  They work so hard in the 'off season' it's unbelievable.  Spend hours in the weightroom every day and it shows.  ...

If "they" is the football program, you're wrong. We've never complained who we played. Never.

Re: Week scores..post them here

This gets old....very old. Week in and week out people on this site feel like they have all the answers. Its laughable. First of all, Purchase Line has some very nice ballplayers. #35 is very active on defense and physical. #22 is a sophomore and a very talented player. The QB, #12 played very well ...
