Re: Pre-Season Favorites

Yeah, local baseball is finally back!!! I read in the paper that Seitz is out for the season for McCort. Does anybody know what happened? That is a HUGE blow to them. I can't speak for CT, but that was the first time Westmont has been on a baseball diamond all spring. Not a terrible performance cons...

Re: Pre-Season Favorites

Yeah, I saw that the McCort tourney is scheduled for this weekend. Re: Pre-Season Favorites

With this epically horrible weather, have any local HS teams played a regular season game yet? I think the season is supposed to be into it's third week and I don't think anybody has played a game yet. I can't remember an early spring with this much prolonged bad weather.

Pre-Season Favorites

With the local HS baseball season a little more than a week away, my guess is that almost all of the teams have yet to have a regular outdoor practice with the horrible weather as of late.  This should bode well for pitchers early in the season.

Olympics

Have to admit that I haven't watched a minute of the Olympics. Too much going on at home and any free time I can squeeze in is usually to watch the Pens. Nothing really interests me about the Olympics anymore - way too commercialized for my tastes.

Re: Pre-Season Favorites

Couldn't agree with you more, Crimson, and Seitz definitely has the experience as he has been there and done it, but this Bair kid is the real deal. I am sure McCort will throw those two every chance they get.
