Yes. Coach Franklin also visited a lineman at altoona high and the kicker at hollidaysburg. The kids really enjoyed seeing him at school yesterday. I think the staff and administration did as well based on some of the pics I saw posted on social media. Cool experience for everyone.

Yes, an independent schedule would have been ideal for Altoona. It seems to have helped Hollidaysburg's program. The best Altoona players are playing at Altoona. A few good athletes come and go, but that happens every year. Altoona's lack of success is not because a bunch of kids leave. We play a very tough schedule and it is very difficult to make it through the season injury free. An independent schedule...
