Re: Accolades
My opinion: Kaack got her COY because of the 1 game she beat Carol Cecere. Makes sense, cause beating a 2 time state champ had nothing to do with coach Kaack winning coy. Much more impressive beating a perennial district champion that flames out in the state tournament. Year. After. Year. Run to th...

Re: Holy Hoopers
I wasn’t aware there were charter schools in D5 orD6... There are not. I just see people voicing their support for BG/BC/BM with reasonable points but I would just hate to see those same people condemn another school later on for doing the thing they praised these other schools for Are you referrin...

CAUTION!!! Frustrated fan post!
At what point is the Altoona athletic dept gonna take some PRIDE in the hiring of coaches?!?! I have watched the Altoona girls basketball program hire (at best assistant coaches) as their head coach the past couple of times. They constantly have superior talent but at the end of the day, are mediocr...

Re: Recruiting - JV.
I heard twins from a local school in the north end of cambria county are transferring. Also, hear the best girls basketball player from D6 will be transferring to a Philadelphia school. Sisters moving to JV or somewhere else? Sisters are moving to JV and Altoona kid will “rent” 1 of the vacant pr...

Re: Recruiting - JV.
Was told exactly what kmr said. Another Altoona kid to. The Altoona kid is is with them 24/7. Will also be curious to see if the rumor of the Campbell girl moving to philly is true. I think its more truth than rumor.
