Re: Youth Sports

I am all for the do it all as a primary student. My kids did dance, gymnastics, music lessons, soccer, football, baseball/softball, basketball, boxing. I myself played college athletics at a high level but never have pushed my kids in a particular direction. I do feel that when my kids get to the 14...

Re: Curious Hire

Handling the duties of an A.D. was not at all what I was ever talking about.  An educated and organized 10th grader could handle that.

I've already wasted too much time on something I dont care at all about. That's all I have to say.

Re: Curious Hire

You obviously are upset about myself questioning the hire. It struck a nerve. I didnt mean for that. I dont care either way.

Re: Curious Hire

Does it have to be personal to not understand a hire Jimmy? My experiences with him were on the coaching end. His brother was much more humble and a better guy.  I'm sure that's part of the reason conemaugh valley didnt want him as their football coach in the past few.  He is probably one of those g...

Curious Hire

I'm not sure what the new A.D. hire at McCort is all about.  I understand that the money isn't too attractive but come on.  If that's the best they can do.  I only converse with him a few times a year and that's a few too many for me. You McCort guys fill me in please....

Re: United’s Kyle Silk moves to Ligonier Valley

I always thought Roger was the only good coach on LVs staff.  He is by far their best coach and if you cut away all the extra stuff he is really good.  He's got a lot of wanna bes with him but I think through osmosis they are getting better. But LVCoachFoust deserves some credit for helping shape a ...

Re: United’s Kyle Silk moves to Ligonier Valley

Hopefully this young man's family didnt make this move for a "scholarship". Tutino was way better than Silk will ever be and he was limited in his choices. Juniata is a great school and they'd take Silk whether he played at Liggy or United. And if it was to be on a successful team I just d...

Re: United’s Kyle Silk moves to Ligonier Valley

I'm a little late to the party.  The reason this young man is leaving is because of being bullied? Is this correct?

Re: State Championship Thread

Math, Civics, Science is confined to Philadelphia! What a tough situation they are in. People who say they have an advantage over other 2A schools are crazy. Heck look at Conemaugh Township, they draw from Jerome and Davidsville. And MCS must have terrific academics, those young men barely scored ov...
