Re: Saltsburg forfeit

Wagonrider, its easy to blame the coaches. Who will be the next coach? Ive heard this is the worst group of athletes somerset has had in a long time. Basketball is terrible and wrestling can hardly fill half of a line up.

Re: Saltsburg forfeit

I agree that the teams pre season goals probably were to win conference and d5 or d6. Maybe go undefeated and win a state championship? Who knows. Not sure if they included win the Appalachian bowl. But here they are now. People discussed it on here previously. Come out healthy and gain some valuabl...

Re: Saltsburg forfeit

Knowitall, are you serious? How would you break that to the team that people are arguing is the best shade team ever? I bet those boys want to play. I'm guessing they have some confidence. I think they can have success against liggy. Roll fyfe, get the ball out quick. The athletes match up well. Up ...

The backwards bounce pass to the x, where everyone throws their hands up in disgust except the streaking z on the other side.

Re: I have a bone to pick with Roger Beitel!

As a relatively new bleacher coach, my feelings are hurt. Even if its not a good point or you disagree you have to give me a like or a thumbs up.

Re: I have a bone to pick with Roger Beitel!

I'm not defending LV, I wasn't at any of their games. But to say that every kid should play in every one of their blow outs is as ridiculous to me as is running up score. What don't you like about my post?

Re: I have a bone to pick with Roger Beitel!

This cracks me up. I used to be a part of a successful team and found with us that the guys who usually got screwed were the 2nd team. You let your first team play until the score is 35-0 and sometimes that is 1st quarter. Than parents are yelling to put in kids who put in no work. Most of the time ...

Re: Records about to be set?

Well I agree that Tutino/Daugherty is a argument. Tutino/Julian Fleming? Come on Mr. Tutino. Your son is a great player but you are now being unrealistic. Great ball skills, plays tough, elusive but like you said short. The only way to compensate for that in major college eyes is elite speed. If a h...

Re: former District 5 and 6 football players currently playing college football

Noah Dillow torn acl. Said he was doing great playing as true freshman at cal. Hopefully he can take advantage of the new redshirt rule. Daugherty from Ligonier redshirting at Cal. Collin Smith from Ligonier is at Lackawanna J.C. I checked after a few games and he had no stats as a back up QB.
