Re: Local colleges

This is all so very situational to each person. In Manfred’s example, they have $256k wrapped up in an education. Even at 83k a year, it will most likely take 10 years to pay that back. The kid has to move to Europe. Europe is not cheap. Unless the company is paying for absolutely everything while h...

Re: Local colleges

My degree from lowly Frostburg State has never seemed to hold me back. I’ve worked for several major American companies and it has never been an issue or even brought up. A degree proves you had a goal, worked for it, and achieved it. Unless you are going to study weather (Penn State) or medicine (P...

Re: Creps Stepping Down

Bedford named Joel Easter as the new wrestling coach. He has been an assistant for many years and was a standout wrestler during his high school career there. He is the 7th coach in the history of Bedford wrestling. Of the first 6, 3 are in the state wrestling HOF. Congrats Joel.

Re: Tussey Mt. Football

Smith went 2-28 the last 3 years, but had some really nice seasons before that. From what I can see, the guy they just hired went 2-26 the last 3 years. And he's a criminal. I don't see where this is a step up in any way. Maybe the Tussey board knows something the rest of us don't.

Re: Creps Stepping Down

Came in to post this but saw you beat me to it. Brian had a really good run there. Saw in the paper he was like 180-60 over 14 seasons. Sounds like he felt like he thought it was time for a change. Jr High team did decent this year and I hear there is a fair amount of kids in the youth program, so t...

Re: Konjo Reviews: Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

This whole Moviepass business model made zero sense to me so I looked it up to see if it was for real and how can they make money doing it. Up until last August it was $50/month and they dropped it to $10/month. You can see one movie a day, but no special movies (3D, etc.). They pay the theatre the ...

Re: Greatest Guitarists of all time

I would consider Roy Clark to be a master musician. He could play several instruments at an extremely high level. I'm sure most of the youngin's on here have no clue who he is.
