Re: CC school board says split out the private schools
D6 fbfan: I have read many posts that state none of the BG players were brought in from "the outside". You seem to have good knowledge on the BG sports seen, could you help me better understand what is defined as "the outside", and what you define as "the inside" w...

Re: Bishop Carroll back in the LHAC....sort of.
I am confused. How does the oversight committee's cease and desist order not affect football? So the oversight committee sent a letter telling the LHAC to cease and desist, but you do not have to include football?

Re: District Six Boys Basketball Power Rankings 2/5/2017
My question is why is the deadline and game cut-off so early? In past years, when all the games where at neutral sites an early cut off date was no doubt necessary to coordinate all the sites. But with the first round, and in three of the classes second round, games at home court an early cut-...

Re: District Six Boys Basketball Power Rankings 2/5/2017
I realize the discussion is about .500 teams playing or not playing, but the one thing that should be taken into consideration is the format change. In past years, it was an open tournament. There was no criteria set by the District for a school/team to qualify so many schools set their own sta...

Re: Penn State
JMO, but the only two loss team that has a chance to make the playoff is Wisconsin. Even though a two loss PSU team will have beaten Wisconsin, the PSU loss to Pitt is going be a problem for the committee to over look to move PSU above some of the one loss teams.

Re: WPIAL Playoff Projections
So basically Beaver HS gets 'screwed' because the Wpial has to hold on to their games at Heinz Field. Yeah I know, playing there is a great opportunity. Guess not so much for the two small school classifications. Then the Wpial AAA champion has to sit a week before playing in the state semi ...

Re: Pens vs. Lightning - EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS
All the final 4 teams deserve to be there and are top 4 teams in the nhl. I agree all 4 teams deserve to be there. They have been the better team in each of their match ups. They have beaten who they had to to advance. Just my opinion, but I don't think Tampa is at this point in the playoffs if...

Re: Pens vs. Lightning - EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS
Not making excuses for Letang's poor, but does anyone else think he looks like he is just running out of gas? He is averaging 29.09 minutes of TOI. The most of any player still in the playoffs. This after averaging over 28 minutes TOI in the last two months of the season. He looked like he ...

With 28 mill in your pocket and Kate Upton on your arm, I can completely understand his lack of focus on the diamond.dougkeklak wrote:Being at work I was unable to watch but my mom reported much like you CG, that Verlander is just not the ace he once was.

Re: Any coaching openings?
Coach Gerwert from Bellwood should be in the discussion. His teams at Bellwood are disciplined, well coached, and play hard, and as far as I know he is still employed in the Altoona SD.
