Re: The Tribune-Democrat
A lot of people are mentioning the Altoona Mirror. In addition to having more interesting local teams to cover, Penn State and the Curve, they have reporters that aren't afraid to ask some tough questions, and criticize the local team once in a while. Giger has taken on Paterno, questioned the Pirat...

Re: The Transfers are going to start to happen.
What is the big deal? So a kid wants to leave his school for some reason, whether it be sports or other, it's their life, it should be their choice. If my child loves a sport, but the local public school stinks out loud, or has a clueless coach, then by all means I would do whatever it took to send ...

Re: 3 out of 4... Not bad Bishops!
As long as there are an abundance of small public schools that can't, won't, or don't care to field competitive teams, the Cathloics will flourish. Should they play a level up, should they have there own play-offs, should there be no play-offs, it doesn't matter. If you don't like them, line-up and ...

Re: Jtown vs mifflin
West Mifflin started 5 seniors by the way. They also went 9 or 10 deep and were much bigger than Johnstown. Good win for the Trojans.

Re: FUNK Goodell
I didn't say Ben was a Saint, I said it was a travesty that he was suspended 6, then 4 games for having sex with random women. That doesn't seem right.

Re: FUNK Goodell
The chick from Vegas bragged to her friend about bagging Ben, and was calling herself Mrs. Roethlisberger. She didn't cry rape until he blew her off. She was a total nut bag which is why you don't hear anything about her anymore. You never heard of DTF??? Get off the Penn State message boards and wa...

Here's another fact. Ben was never charged with a crime. The NFL suspended him for six, then four games based upon the word of a drunk girl wearing a DTF badge.

Re: FUNK Goodell
I didn't say anything about it being illegal. Big Ben did nothing illegal and he got suspended for 6, then 4 games. Would you feel the same if it were a 33 year old player, or a 43 year old coach? You know if it was big, mean, scary James Harrison with some 17 yr old, people would be up in arms. Goo...
