I heard CV and Shade are cancelling JV and Township and Blacklick will play each other JV both hime and away.

Blacklick Valley currently has 34 on their roster.

Blacklick Valley is playing a full JV Football Schedule - they have eight games scheduled and will play Portage, North Star, Shade, Township, Conemaugh Valley, Ferndale, Windber and Berlin.  Last year they played Bishop Carroll to fill in for another school who dropped a game with them.

WestPAC North I think the teams to beat are Windber and Blacklick Valley.  I believe Township and North Star will be solid.  Portage, Ferndale and Conemaugh Valley will be ok. Windber - they lose their two big guys in Cominsky and Roxby but will have a very athletic team.  Hanik, Simanski, Piscotell...

I saw a post on here saying Conemaugh Valley is a D6A baseball team to watch. They have dropped to 0-3 with lopsided losses to Blacklick Valley, Portage and North Star. Are these teams just real good or is CV down?

My friend coaches at Blacklick Valley and he said they never asked to use Central Cambria's track.

I see Conemaugh Valley listed as a D6A contender but got roughed up by Blacklick Valley 9-3 and Portage 12-0.  Injuries?

I would think if you were in that league, unless you are PIAA sanctioned then the games do not count. Meadowbrook Christian and Northumberland Christian are in that league and both are PIAA members. Therefore those two schools cannot use 7th and 8th grade players.

They play quite a few teams from the Allegheny Athletic Christian Association.  That conference allows for 7th and 8th graders to play varsity without losing any eligibility.  I guess they want proof that the schools that they play are not using those young players in order for those games to count....
