Chestnut Ridge Girls basketball
Seeing the results from yesterday, it looks like Ridge is simply taking advantage of a relatively easy schedule. The two best teams they have played, FH & WH, handled them easily. Lucky for them, they won't see either of them again until the playoffs.

Re: Any Monday scores?
How about some? There were a few games last nt., and since there is no Tues. paper, and neither local TV station covers much of the action anymore........that Windber @ Portage would have been newsworthy. Yeah, the local coverage has become a joke. Neither news stations cover local sports anymore, ...

Chestnut Ridge Girls basketball
The Ridge girls are off to a nice start, but they have played exactly 2 teams with a winning record. The combined win/loss record for their opponents is 35-51 - not exactly murderers row. The LHAC on the girls side is not strong this year. Should come down to FH, WH and Ridge on the girls side.

Hoops Scores
Coach Hudak is doing a FANTASTIC job with them and they are GREAT bunch of girls. Hopefully, they go far in states this year - they had a nice run last year as well. To be fair though, they have really not played ANYBODY yet. Yes, they did beat Windber & PC, but both those programs are on down y...

Re: The End of an Era, Probably
Growing up I went to a lot of the Westmont games on Saturday afternoons because I lived right there and it was something to do. You'd often see kids from McCort, Johnstown, Richland etc. at the Westmont games too for that same reason. I liked it. They did their homecoming game on a Saturday afterno...
Steelers
I guess Trubisky wasn't the problem after all. Prime Dan Marino wouldn't have helped this team. As the late, great Chaz Noll once said, "We have problems and they are many". That is pretty much spot on for this edition of the Steelers.
