Good advice, Heaven!
Good advice, Heaven! I have seen a western PA player who lies between Revis and Shubik in terms of ability and athleticism. Shaler Area's Nick Sefscik, a 6-3 185 junior combo guard currently averaging just shy of 20ppg and is the 2nd leading scorer this season in WPIAL AAAA behind Connellsville's Ja...

Head Roadie, Do you remember Paul Holzshu, one of the the guys who used to own Metro Index? He's an acquaintance of mine. Again, I saw Shubik place one time and that was in an AAU tourney last spring. He's a good player, for sure, but mid-major? I think not. First of all, I see or hear of no mid-maj...

Hmmm
Hmmm, are we sure that John Miller from Blackhawk hasn't made his way to Somerset County?
Probably not, he'd have heart failure if he had to coach there.

Hey, NAS, I KNOW you couldn't have beaten me in any running race above 200m (unless Brian Sell disguised himself as you), I ran a 4:17 mile in college. I also earned 12 varsity letters in 3 sports over 4 years at the D3 level. But, I guess compared to your God-like accomplishements mine are pale in ...

Hey you judge
Gee, I don't think I knew that NAS played for WVU, lettered for 4 years, started for 3 years, blah/blah/blah... Now that we're done feeding NAS's ego for the day, let's get serious, you think NAS would've played in front of: Antonio Bryant (uhh, where's he playing now and what award did he win in co...

My question
My main question is: Does DShubik have a full D1 athletic scholarship offer anywhere, or is the Sacred Heart/Air Firce thing speculation? The 4 I put ahead of DShubik??? DRevis-Full boat to Pitt (football) and will walk on in hoops DiMichele-Looks like he'll be going the football route, some mid-maj...

Hmmm
I said AS GOOD or better. My sources tell me Shu is one of the top 5 A-AA guards in western PA. Heard he doesn't shoot it well enough to play 2 guard...He'll be a pg in college. Let's not even add in AAA and AAAA guards, because Shu would drop a good bit. Truthfully, I have never seen Shubik play. I...

Small SChool Guards in Western PA
Here are some small school (only class A and AA) guards who are as good or better than Shubik in Western PA: Darelle Revis, Aliquippa Adam DiMichele, Sto Rox Adam Bauman, Freeport Lance Jeter, Beaver Falls That's 4 right there, so I'd say it's safer to say Shubik is one of the top 5-7 best guards at...
