Re: basketball 2-5 through 2-10
Collins is a terrific player and I don't mean to diminish his skills or contribution to his team in any way because that wouldn't be fair, but look at the competition the two teams are playing against on a nightly basis. Collins is playing in the ICC (Glendale, Mo Valley, CK, etc.... which is, let's...

Re: Matt Holsinger commits to UPJ
Not sure if you guys saw this but Luke Ruggery, the PG at Bishop Guilfoyle, committed to St. Francis in the last week or so. According to the Altoona Mirror it is as a full scholarship player as well. That is two nice additions to local college programs from the LHAC.

Re: Evan Chadbourne
I believe his surgery was done by the Steeler's team physician Dr. Bradley. It's a shame he had to miss his senior year but my understanding is that he is going to be playing basketball at some point during the upcoming season so hopefully he can at least get to play with his friends during the wint...

Re: LHAC Football Forecast Week One
Great work as always CG. Very thorough as usual. It should be a fun year in the LHAC, although I don't see anyone knocking off the Maruaders.

Re: Penn State really shouldn't play Pitt
I'm a PSU grad/fan and was at the game in 2000. That game was probably 2/3 Pitt fans at Three Rivers if I remember correctly. I think Crimson's figures will be pretty close. I'd go 50000 Pitt/18000 PSU (of which I'll be one- anyone need Pitt/Villanova tickets?) or something similar to that. I do thi...

Re: Penn State really shouldn't play Pitt
I don't think there is any way that the PSU/Pitt game is a 50/50 split as far as fans at the game are concerned. I am a PSU fan who bought Pitt season tickets for this year and I know of at least 5-6 other people who have done the same thing. However, I think the math that Crimson used earlier is so...

Re: BG girls
I've posted on here in the past that you'd have to be blind to see the number of girls from different districts outside BG represented in the girls program and not think something was going on. I have had 3 kids go through BGHS (one still there, and no, none of them played girls basketball thankfull...

Re: Tough News For BG...
Every case is different with how schools handle injuries with prospective recruits. Even since McCoy and Shope played high school football, medicine and rehab have gotten better. iIn the past decade an ACL isn't a death blow to a career like it used to be, they're just so common and it seems like t...
