Re: The bottom teams in D6
Johnstown will have a quality team and I think will make a run at the district title but will make the state bracket and get destroyed. Teams are just simply better than the talent and coaching they have at Johnstown. For the people saying about the Jr. High, they are a very talented bunch and found...

Not to mention Central Mountain having to beat a Jersey Shore. Very slim odds but we will see

Re: If Playoffs Started Today in D6-A
If Homer would play Bellwood in round 1, it would certainly be a very good game IMO.

Re: Will BG be tested?
Titan....have you seen mccloskey play? He goes games without even being brought down. He's a great runner and may not be as fast as mencer but I would just flip a coin for the running back position. As for fullback, that would be givens spot and would not be taken away from him in any circumstances....

Re: Will BG be tested?
Talking with my cousin who is on the team he has said a lof starters are starting to get a big head and big egos. That everything will just be easy and they dont even have to try til semifinals. Maybe it's just your "cousin" with the ego. Is he a starter? From what I've seen in the paper ...

Re: Will BG be tested?
Saying that chadbourne would be the only one on altoona getting playing time is ridiculous. Andrew Berger would not only be the best lineman on Altoona, he'd be one of the better guys in the conference. Kitt is a very good LB and would be their starting backer. Gormley is a good TE who would start. ...

Re: Will BG be tested?
Single A states is a lot different than AAA stats. If BG does not have to play the a clairton or NC unless they happen to make the final. If they make the final, win or loss it would be a pretty remarkable run for a local team. Both are very good just BG will have a better shot to win some big games.

Re: Will BG be tested?
Somerset will certainly challenge them. Somerset has a very good chance of beating them. I was just asking if this is the week you see a more competitive game. Somerset is a whole different animal than Johnstown. BG vs. Somerset has the elements to be the best game in the past 5 or so years locally.
