Re: QBs returning kicks
This Is quite commonplace in the Westpac for awhile now. Small schools who's best athlete USUALLY plays the quarterback position, you want them to touch the ball as many times as possible so they're back there returning kicks and punts as well. Do I personally like the decision.....absolutely not. T...

Re: game of the week?
Reading the different North Star vs Valley write up's and seeing the stat's I saw the Cougars had six turnover's. Three of them were from the QB getting hit. Five of the turnover's happened inside their own 50 which left a short field for the Blue Jays and one of those was returned for a TD. Also CV...

Re: Scores Week 1
Don’t know but I did see a PA state runner-up lost 56-0 last night And they lost to another PA State quarterfinalist in the next division up from last year that we knew would be pretty decent again this year. If you wanted to compare two games with four teams that were total opposites of each othe...

From what I read on here that East Hardy team was a West Virginia State Semifinalist last year....not trying to take away from a great win for Bishop Carroll's program at this point but good God how bad is West Virginia high school football?

Re: Scrimmages?
That's interesting Hank because TM's line played well and the varsity offense scored a few times and only gave up 1 TD on defense on a long run. Any Portage fans at the scrimmage to chime in ? Was not at the scrimmage so I apologize I cannot speak first hand on what went on that morning. However as...

Is this the same Lackawanna JC that Penn State currently has two commitments from for 2019?

#1 Bishop Carroll - 50
#4 Portage - 47
FINAL
Haven't watched a game all year but decided to go up and see if BC was a team that could bring gold back to the area. Left very unimpressed. Really can't believe that team was 21 - 1 and won the LHAC. But I understand, every team has a bad game.

Re: Coaching Vacancies
The "talk" in the Portage community are that Mustangs are changing their Offensive Coordinator. Not a HUGE shocker after the current OC took some major heat after play calling in the Homer Center and especially the Ferndale playoff game. Will be curious to see if they name one inside the c...
