I love it! They should claim they are the champion. Why not? They have nothing to lose by doing so, it will only increase the attention the school gets. They might get a few players out of it. That's why you can't put teams in the playoff that didn't make their own conference championship. They basically get a bye through probably the toughest round of the playoff system. Ridiculous. Please, all the teams get weeks off before bowl season and playoffs. And sometimes one section is better ...
