In the first scrimmage against Central Mountain, the 5A district winner from last year, CC easily beat them when all the starters and 3 bench players playing. But many JV guys were given time who won't see varsity time all year and at those times they didn't compete well

I think he's a very gifted athlete, don't get me wrong. I just don't think being a division 1 pitcher has anything to do with it

All I'm saying is the sport is different. Max Murin was a Division 1 athlete, but I don't think he would have helped CC win a state title last year. Ronan is a division 1 baseball pitcher, doesn't really extend to basketball in my opinion, the sport is way too different, especially at that position. He's an ok high school basketball player.
