Wonder how excited the Bellwood fans are feeling about playing in the East section of the LHAC next year?

Re: LHAC releases its sections in HS sports
Huntingdon could have been in the new North and Claysburg could have switched to the south. They have a lot of history and tradition so I would think they’ll bounce back. Like P-O, they are a bigger school that might have been a problem for the smaller A schools. If they would turn it around at a s...

Re: Game of the week?
How about the revenge game in Saxton this week. Former Tussey coach brings his Trojan team in his return to Saxton. I'm sure both sides will be highly motivated to prove a point to the other side. Should be a good game. I would think the CR vs. FH game would be intriguing. FH being 0-2 may be misle...

Congrats to Neshannock girls. At least 1 public has won. Out of 24. Great for the sport. So it looks like the Boys’ bracket just wrapped up with Roman Catholic taking the 6A title. All six classes on the boys’ side was won by a Catholic or Charter School. (Bishop Canevin, OLSH, Devon Prep, NG, Imho...

Re: Shot Clock In H.S. Basketball Yes or No
I see it as an additional cost for schools. Installing them and then paying someone to operator them. Most games (probably 95% or more) won’t need a shot clock because many teams don’t hold the ball that long. Unfortunately, a few schools play keep away and don’t play the game the way it’s meant to ...

Re: Does anyon remember these old gyms?
Forbes Road’s old gym with the small court and high ceilings. I remember going there once and they only used it in the winter for basketball after building their new school. Because the heat was recently turned on, there were bees in the ceiling that were dormant due to being cold. When the heat mad...

Re: LHAC going up in flames?
I read the thread from YAHOO about the new expansion of the LHAC. The one that left me surprised was the Richland AD, saying he could not wait to renew the old rivalries with Windber and Conemaugh TWP. I may be jumping the gun, because no divisions have yet to be created. I bet a number of current ...
