Re: D5/6 Football Program Power Rankings II
223113, I think they'll rebound a little, but not much. Maybe 6-4 for sure, 7-3 hopefully. Still young and smallish for a FH team. After Cecere yrs. , expect another dropoff. I hope you're right. Maybe I've become spoiled over the years. It was just in 2009, and 2010, that they won back-to-back ...

Re: D5/6 Football Program Power Rankings II
100 wins in the decade of the 90's is pretty amazing. FH has quite a program. I can't ever really remember them being down for more then a year or so. 2012: 9-4, Lost in D6AA Championship 2013: 7-5, Lost in D6AA Semi 2014: 5-6, Lost in D6AA 1st Round 2015: 5-6, Lost in D6AA 1st Round I know ...

Re: Guru's Week 11 Playoff Preview and Picks
"If Cecere plays the entire game, FH wins. If not, Central heads to the second round." While Cecere will get better in the coming years, he will not be the determining factor in THIS game. The FH O-line lost 3 players to injury last week (a knee, a shoulder, and an ankle, I believe). If...

Re: Guru's Week 10 LHAC Preview and Picks
While the odds are against the Rangers winning, it could happen. This game is worth a minimum of 210 pts. for FH (190 from Bed, 10 from PC/BM winner, 10 from Rich/BC winner), and if 1 or both, Hunt. and/or So. Hunt. lose, then FH would crawl over them and not get Central in Round 1. Even if they do ...

Re: Ligonier Vally Rumor Mill
Well I don't think you can get bent out of shape over a Heritage title anyhow. This means nothing. D6 playoffs are more important. So if none of the other teams will see LV in D6, not a big deal then Winning your conference means everything. It means you are the best amongst your rivals. A D6 cha...

Re: D6 AA Playoffs
The Bedford FH game will mean nothing to Bedford. How many starters are you going to risk for a meaningless game with the playoffs about to start. Could turn into a Bedford JV game Bedford will come out w/ guns blazing, in "tune-up" mode, to get ready for the playoffs, at least for the 1s...

Re: D6 AA Playoffs
If FH loses to Richland, (and assuming they'll also then lose to Bedford) you could then take FH out of the Playoff discussion. Even if FH, CC, and Rich, are all 4-6, and even if FH had more Points,....FH would be prohibited from post-season participation, per school policy, due to a sub-.500 record...

Re: Guru's Week #8 LHAC Preview and Picks
Just a final follow up: I swung by G.H. Miller Stadium to check out the fire damage to the grass/sod. You were correct Guru! The Pumper Trucks were just the ticket! They washed away any evidence of a fire! As a matter of fact, there isn't even the slightest smell of charred anything,...just a minor ...

Re: Guru's Week #8 LHAC Preview and Picks
"I saw the firetrucks at Don Bailey stadium putting out a fire on the football field. It must have been a bad one because the pumper trucks were there for hours." =)) Oh, man,....my side hurts from laughing! Whew!!THAT,...was golden. I like your weekly LHAC picks, Guru. Very entertaining....

Re: Ending of the Michigan game
"Miracle in the Meadowlands", late 70's, take a knee and Giants win. Fumbled handoff, Herm Edwards scoops and scores,...Eagles win. Should have never happened.
