Re: Fall Sports
Yea the second wave is happening now. I could see businesses having to close again at some point before 2020 is over. The closing of those businesses is going to be timed around the October timeframe. And I will absolutely support any of those businesses that give the big old middle finger to Wolf.

Re: Fall Sports
I'm pretty sure this conversation is going to happen, if it hasn't happened already........ Hey Tom, this is Joe, uh, er, Joe Biden. I’m running for governor, um, I mean, should have said, Vice Presi……, er, um, President. Yeah that’s it. Hey, I wanted to check on you and see about the great state of...

Re: Fall Sports
I certainly don't feel like a spoiled adult for being frustrated by the way this has been handled. Our world today is not the same as it was through difficult times in history. Hell, if I had the chance, I'd go back in time and live in simpler times. But we can't do that, so we are where we are. Her...

Re: NHL announces playoffs coming in july-august
Personally I think Columbus is the best choice for the East. I'd love to see it in the 'Burgh but Columbus just seems to make too much sense. For the love of God I hope it's not Chicago with the goofball for a mayor they have. Someone mentioned ice quality. This has to be concern. In normal years du...

Re: Fall Sports
I didn't bring up 'the government' into the thread. Fear mongering and distrust about the government was brought up previously, I was just adding my two cents into it. Ditto. FWIW, Italy, Spain, and others all became infected with spread among their Chinese ties. Whether it came from the east or we...

Which was a good thing. Not so much for small businesses. But I guess if we blindly follow and blindly believe everything our government officials feed us, then sure, it's a great thing to see failing businesses, failing livelihoods, failing careers - all for a virus that has a 1% mortality rate. I...

Re: Coronavirus this n that
Saw where there was dirt track racing (real racing, not virtual game BS) @ Port Royal, Lincoln, and Williams Grove. Don't these places have to have fans in order to pay for everything to stay open? Are there that many rednecks in central Pa. to defy notices or recommendations to everyone to stay ho...

Re: New LHAC member....
Honestly, I think a lot can be learned from CR with their recent move back to the Laurel Highlands. Even with one of the smallest districts in the conference they have competed annually for titles in most of the "bigger" sports. Then when they go back to playing schools of similar size in...

Re: PIAA 2020 AA State Duals
When was the last time D5 had a state team champ? In the dual team championships, never. http://www.piaa.org/assets/web/documents/results/winter/wrestling/team/Team_WR_Past_Champs.pdf After getting a few minutes to review this, I see that since the inception of the dual meet championship, Reynolds ...
