Re: 2017 High School Baseball Season
I believe that's right Manfred. I just looked at district 5 and 6 classifications yesterday. I believe Central missed the cut by 2.

Re: Spangler legion back?
Spangler was shot down. There are 10 teams. Portage is in and Stoystown is out according to a source. I'd say Patton has more enemies than anyone.

Yes! Totally forgot about Juniata Valley. Good season last year with some solid players back. This is why I said chime in. Thanks AverageFan22

A has to be between Homer Center and Claysburg has some young talent. AA Bellwood and McCort looking solid. I think obviously Central the favorite in AAA followed by tough Mount Union and Richland teams. There's also some sleepers in there with AAA. AAAA I'm not as familiar with, nor AAAAA. So if I ...

Re: Ridge to the LHAC?
I don't think it will effect the Sideling Hill. There are enough teams there. If the Sideling Hill would look to add a team, I'm not sure who. They could look at Claysburg and/or Mt. Union, but I don't think it will happen. Chestnut Ridge's absence makes an even 8 teams for the Sideling Hill.

Re: 2017 High School Baseball Season
I agree Meyersdale as still one of the top riding those veteran arms. I did hear that about Windber, not sure if its true though. I look for the Laurel Highlands and the ICC to have some good battles. I think the new pitching rule will effect some of the top teams that could have rode one arm deep i...
