Re: Who is your playoff sleeper?
Not sure if you were saying Berlin has had their way with Portage or if Berlin is hard to beat at home. Either way, both statements are true recently. Portage is 1-6 vs Berlin since 2012 (1 win was at home) and 6 -7 since 2004 (4 wins at home) The teams who are always contenders year in and year ou...

Re: District 6 A Playoff Thread
I dont think its shenanigans. When X amount of teams have to be police escorted out of portage and never anywhere else that says something. And its nowhere near all portage fans. Probably 1%. But that 1% loves to stand behind the visiting team during warm ups and really say dirty things. That can e...

Re: Tonight's playoff scores..
To think just a couple years ago Ferndale came up and started a game with 15 dressed, finished the game with 12 or 13. There was a lot of talk that they should have scrapped the program. Hope this win will draw even more participation. Great job Jackets!

Didn't see that one. My bad.. Great job United!! Always good when local team does good. In another post I commented how the some Portage starters told me that Shade was a real physical team.

Re: Westpac Week 7
First off great job taking some time to throw up a post about the conference games each week. Secondly the Portage vs Windber game could be a tricky one for the Mustangs if they continue to be sluggish out of the gates against opponents. With a unique Ramblers Single Wing offense and a shaky at ti...

Re: Westpac Week 9
Great job...every week! Thanks to you for taking the time to write up your predictions. Your Portage- Shade score may be spot on "either way", lackluster play calling from Portage staff surely didn't help the cause last week. Thinking this game is a pick-em, the rest you got. Your average...

Re: Westpac Week 9
All I can say is the Portage kids have been playing their guts out all year, yes they make their share of mistakes. But in the two losses I would put the blame on the staff. But,hey we'll take the ranking.

Re: Westpac Week 8
Love your post every week. But, think your Portage - Berlin score is a bit off. Berlin has alot of weapons left and are certainly too well coached for a lopsided score like that. It's going to be a much closer, hard fought game. I think probably the last team with the ball will squeak out a win..
