Re: Who is
When we say "athletes" we often overlook linemen. To give credit to the draft horses who could also fly to the ball on D, I'll go with BG's Andrew Berger, Dakota Leamer, and Nick Leamer. Their tenures overlapped each other, but their combined playing years stretched from '11-'17. BG h...

Re: Who is
Benbow's game against Westmont his senior year might have been the single greatest individual performance I've seen in close to 30 years covering high school football. Heck, covering any high school sport. Little bit of a thread revive but you must have never seen Domenick Bragalone play. His game...

Re: Homer/steelton results
If you can't root for Homer, there is not a school you can root for. Well coached, hard nosed, and respectful. Plus. they don't come on here and tell us how good they are. You guys are missing what I meant while I don’t root for homer I do support them since they’re a area team in the final....

Re: Homer/steelton results
While it’s great that another local team advanced to the state final it’s a shame that it’s a program like homer center. Don’t get me wrong the kids on the team in no way shape or form do anything at all wrong. That being said the parents and fans are some of the worst I’ve ever seen. I’ve went to g...

We must have been at different games then because from what I saw jtowns side was looking pretty emptyGoldenRamsFAN wrote:I wouldn’t say they did, jtown side was completely full, and everyone standing was wearing jtown colors.

Re: Making Single A Fun Again
If a random person walked up to my kid and hugged them I would be a little worried about what was going on. When I went to the Jtown BG game there was hardly anyone there from BG. The 50/50 was only 462 dollars. That’s pretty bad attendance, and it was a nice night. Bg had better attendance than jt...

Re: Making Single A Fun Again
If the 'altoona community' is so behind BG football how come the home side is never filled up. Id put money on HCs away side having more fans than BGs. Not saying BG doesnt have solid fans but just calling out the altoona community support BG consistently draws more people than every Altoona game. ...
