Ligonier Valleys Alec Bloom
LV's 2014 graduate Alec Bloom is reporting to rookie mini-camp for the Arizona Cardinals in early May. He is a December 2017 graduate of UCONN and started 4 years at TE for the Huskies! He is a great young man and was a pleasure to coach. I couldn't be happier and more excited for him. Thought t...

Re: John Hayes Retires
Great coach and great program! It was an honor to play against him in the playoffs in 1997(Laurel Valley) and then coach against him in the playoffs of 2007(Ligonier). Congrats Coach Hayes! Enjoy your retirement!

Re: Coaching Changes
McCort did beat LV early in the season, but I'm pretty sure Daugherty and Tutino were still out from football related injuries at the time. That would make a little bit of a difference.

Re: PIAA Semifinals
Congrats to Penns Manor on an outstanding season. I believe they are all underclassmen and will be fun to watch next year. Once again, congratulations coaches and players!

Re: Bell is at it again
Crimson's Ghost, was Bell there from July until they lost to Jacksonville in the playoffs in January? Nope. So he's never completed a FULL season in the NFL. He's missed time every year he's been in the league. Either from injuries, self imposed suspensions or selfish hold outs. Looks like he'll con...

Re: Bell is at it again
Bell is not worth $14.5m. No way, never. There’s an old saying “Pigs get fat and HOGS get slaughtered” I believe he is very good obviously, but he also plays behind arguably the best O-line in the league. The Steelers offered nearly $5.5m more a year than Freeman from Atlanta. Bell isn’t explosive e...

Re: Best Team in the last decade??
I also like my LV Rams 2016 or 2017 teams. Combined 27-2. Losing 2 games by a total of 7 points. (31-27 & 23-20).

BG's 2nd State Title Team in 2015. They dominated everyone, including Farrell 35-0 in the final.

Re: Early Signing Day
Collin Smith isn't transferring to IUP. He's doing very well in school and ahead of schedule with his knee injury. He'll be ready to go very soon for the Mountaineers.
