Re: What will be left...

Not a multiplier fan. As was mentioned, many public schools dominant for whatever reasons. I like rule that states you must play up classifications based on sustained success. For example, BG should move up not bc they are a private school, but bc they should be playing better competition.

Re: What will be left...

Historically class A has been dominated by public schools.  Bishop Guilfoyle's run really rubbed people the wrong way but it's long been dominated by the Southern Columbia's, Clairton's, and Steel-High's not Bishop's. It's never been impossible for public schools to compete.   Agreed, but not what’...

What will be left...

I know I am just stirring the pot here, but there is some truth and relevance to this as well... I have been part of many discussions on here involving public/private etc...  in football.  Many times people saying that it’s next to impossible for small schools to compete with private.  Now we fast f...

Re: Question for Manfred/Portage people?

If some kid running from a mess that he likely helped to create makes you warm and fuzzy inside so be it I guess. Just make sure you have the same "compassion" the next time a kid and family decides a private education is what they need. Also, not sure why anyone thinks kids "have to&...

Re: Question for Manfred/Portage people?

The caliber of player shouldn't matter and the nature of the transfer shouldn't matter (public to public/public to private/etc...).  You have a simple case of clear, especially now that we learned he hasn't moved, athletic intent and it's cool?  This kid goes private and same dudes be saying "h...

Re: Question for Manfred/Portage people?

Your arrogance is stinking like this Penguin game I'm watching..whoops now its 9-1..you have no facts here..until you do..please be done. You might be reading this all wrong.  I could care less why the kid left.  Families have the right, in my opinion, to do whatever they feel best for their childr...

Re: Question for Manfred/Portage people?

It's the point that if a kid leaves a public school for a private school no other potential reason is considered by anyone but athletic intent, but you see public to public and the same people find every other possibility but athletic intent.  It's just crazy to me.  In regards to moving, please, le...

Re: Question for Manfred/Portage people?

Believe it or not occasionally families move from one house to another.  Lower rent, more closet space, a bigger kitchen, etc. are reasons why families move from one house to another.  Sometimes they move a few miles away and cross a boundary line that means the kids have to go to a new school.   H...
