Re: High School Recruiting
It's not that fairness can be legislated, but it should be protected. Consider the recent loss of Aaron Johnson from PSU's B-ball team as an example. Just when PSU was about to possibly turn the corner with everyone returning next year...BOOM...Aaron Johnson, the teams leading rebounder and 2nd lead...

Re: NO MO' HO JO
He's getting a free ride for his education. And he's NOT pro-basketball material. He was a walk-on to begin with. Yes I'm staying. Otherwise he has to sit out a year before playing D-I again. Of course, maybe he can go D-II and play at, say, Lock Haven without sitting out..... And what's up with the...

The Earth was covered with water during the Flood, not organic material. As the material floated and collected in large patches, it settled in this fashion. Good enough? Coal is in certain places because of the uneven collecting and settling of organic material. We're not talking about mud here whic...

I don't fear freedom of choice. But I am pro-rules. So if you don't like the rules, get them changed. Until then, you follow them, right? Don't forget, freedom of choice often hurts someone or some group, and may also give someone or some group an unfair advantage over others. What may be a good cho...

NO MO' HO JO
Yesterday, Penn State announced the departure of Aaron Johnson from their basketball program. Hojo leaves the team with one year of eligibility left. He was the team's second leading scorer last season. Since Ed DeChellis took over the program in April 2003, several key players including DeForest Ri...

TAE: You're going to compare a college astronony professor to a world renowned expert on statistical probability????....Your YMCA boys B-Ball story wasn't a diversion from the subject?...Why did God make the Planets? DC: I can handle a miracle once in a while, but for evolution to have occurred it would have taken miracle after miracle after miracle for humans to have developed from primordial ooze.... By the way, if you want a geology lesson, just go into any coal mine in our area. Isn't it amazing that coal is...

Re: Old enough to know better
Weren't all the witnesses, etc sworn in with the Bible to start the trial? If so, why was the consulting of the Bible wrong? Can't have it both ways. If you swear on the Bible, then what's in it should be allowed for advise.

Re: Sorry to ruin everyone's week
I disagree with your thoughts on statistics, especially when they concern probability. You can't deny this.... Was your comment about "98.5% of all statistics are made up on the spot", something you made up on the spot????... I'm not saying I will win this argument, but I'm not losing at t...
