I just added a most recent topics section to the homepage. Is this what you are referring to?

The most recent update has added Twitter, Facebook, & other social networks to your user profile.

The change was to upgrade the forum software so that it is more secure. What is it exactly that you don't like and we can add back or try to change things to best suit your needs.
