Re: Upset in happy valley
Here's something interesting to note....right now on this message board we have one topic in which we're blasting a head high school football coach for blaming officiating for his teams loss (i am not condoning his actions, only pointing this out). Then in another topic we have grown men arguing tha...

Re: Upset in happy valley
PSU got hammered by Michigan who runs a prostyle offense and ran downhill at them for most of the game. PSU has small DE's who are quick as edge rushers. Ohio State puts their offensive tackles on an island in pass pro and the PSU edge rush got the better of them. Especially in the second half. If O...

Private school success
Reading the discussion of private schools under the LHAC week 7 thread, I wondered this......has there ever been a period of time when all of the privates in the D5/6 area were successful at the same time? Since I have lived in this area, at least one of the three (BG, BM or BC) have been successful...

Re: Week four scores
Since this has come to light, I have another scenario to present.....We can guarantee the LHAC becomes the premier conference in the state.....as each team in the LHAC ends their season, either by not qualifying for playoffs or being eliminated from the playoffs, they should send their best players ...

Re: Trade Deadline
Pitching, Pitching, Pitching....more specifically, bullpen help. How nice would it be to still have Joe Blanton and his .766 WHIP, 34 K's/8 BB's per 31 innings pitched! This team desperately needs help in the PEN! They have one of the best benches I can ever remember a Pirates team having, but they ...

Re: Bishop Guilfoyle vs. Farrell Open Game Thread
There are many relevant points which have been made here in this discussion. It doesn’t really make any sense to state that people only make the private/boundary-less school complaint when one of these teams is good and wins….well, of course that’s going to happen. It’s human nature. No one gets ben...

Re: Bishop Guilfoyle underclassmen
I will start by saying I believe that Coach Wheeler and his staff are a very good coaching staff. They get the most out of their players and you can't win as many games in a row as they have by accident. I will use BG as an example for my post, but this is in no way meant to be specific to only BG, ...

Re: 4-3 Defense in High School Football
This is an interesting discussion for sure. Some good statistics being thrown around that obviously someone put some work into, :ymapplause: -----please keep those coming as the season goes on! I'd much rather read stats about our local kids/teams than the national recycled stories about college and...

I also heard that Ross Carpenter will be coaching at CK. I heard that he will be with the varsity level though.

Re: Chestnut Ridge
I've noticed a very strong group of athletes at CR currently as well. I do not have this knowledge, but does anyone know if this could be the best collective group of athletes to ever go through CR at one time? I really have no history of the district to reference.
