Re: Girls Basketball State Quarterfinals: Saturday 3/16
District 6 Champs. I've been following them through their games since playing Everett. Watching these last 6 games or so I can see a team that should play the lottery, they have been lucky. If they go to Hershey this year they may have to buy a ticket to get in. This Mahoney team could be...

Re: State Basketball Attendance
I would argue that those who are restricted from bringing the cow bells, banners, and other noise makers are the parents and die hard fans who still attend with those restrictions. I don't think the attendance of the average fans who want to take in a game are is affected by those scenarios. But th...

Definitely regular. I got tired of dying of diphtheria on Oregon Trail, so now I'm addicted to solitaire.

Re: State Basketball Attendance
Even though we are stuck in the middle of the state, I wish the PIAA would split football and basketball and put one in Pittsburgh and one in Philly each year then flip the next year. I think that would greatly help attendance. They can't even put people in the seats for the wpial games......nor do...

Re: Saturday Scoreboard 2-23-19
There's plenty of debate on that. Ruggery, Rigby, Paola, Instone, Burke, McDannel are all really good. And I'm sure I'm missing a few. Only thing Collins proved tonight is that he's a really good free throw shooter

Re: Wednesday Scoreboard 2/27/19
Yeah PV's enrollment number was 207 in 14/15. Now they are 169. So they too would currently be single A under the old 4 class system. So there's 2 teams that would've prevented JV from winning this past fall.

Re: Wednesday Scoreboard 2/27/19
Bellwood hadn't been AA in football under the 4 class system since 2000/2001. 2014/2015 was the last year we had 4 classes, and the A cutoff was 174Crimson's Ghost wrote:159 boys, and Penns Valley has 169. No way 169 would be Single-A. So it would be on the border.

Re: Wednesday Scoreboard 2/27/19
You would know this before I would but was Bellwood single A before 6 classifications? I can't remember. Agreed Bellwood did give them a beat down but JV became a different team after that loss. I still look for BC to get back to Eastern Finals. Did injury look serious for the young man who got ...
