Re: BG Canton
Even though he did not play much this year due to injury Garner did not attend a parochial school until he transferred in to BG after his sophomore season of football at Southern Huntingdon. He would have had to sit out the baseball season that year because of this, but that was the Spring of 2020. ...

You are correct, my mistake. The total with the 50% would be 116, which is still well below the AA cutoff.

Re: PIAA Classification Craziness....Coming Soon!
From what I recall from research done a few years ago, this may have changed since, PIAA rules on Co-ops cause the host school, in this case JV to add just 25% of the second school's (Williamsburg) enrollment. 25% of 71 is 17.75, we will round that up to 18. Adding that 18 to JV's 81 still leaves th...

Re: PIAA Classification Craziness....Coming Soon!
We all know the countless rumors about the program, but one of the stories that I heard about Southern Columbia is that they have numerous male students non-athletes) who attend a full day Vo-Tech. As the theorist who told me this said they ship the boys who don't play sports there. That would keep t...

Re: Defensive Strategy question
I have not seen FH play this year, and have limited exposure to Richland. But, I would lock up my athletes one on one in man coverage if I were Richland, Their skill guys are very talented and I am guessing they will be able to negate at least big gains in the passing game. That would leave 8 in the...
Re: STATS
Another noted statistical star is Nate Myers from Southern Huntingdon. He led the state in total yards from scrimmage for the regular season.
Hoenstine second in passing, Crawley first in rushing, and Myers first for total yards. Not too bad for District 6.

Re: D6 1A-3A Playoff Picture
Have any players or high school students actually been sick or test positive? If they are shutting everything down because some kid in elementary school's mother tested positive, they may have overreacted a little. Which could be why they are returning to activities and school a little quicker. I c...

Re: Forest Hills to forfeit next two games
I do not believe teams are being forced to forfeit if the school is shut down due to the virus. They are not to be punished for things that are beyond their control. For those teams who are unable to play it simply does not count in their record one way or the other.
At least this is my understanding.
