Re: Bearcats All the way

Losing three of five linemen on offense..lol Dude, that's a lot. You say they are losing (Just) 3 linemen that's the majority Not  really. Even worse case scenario, the current underclassmen D lineman more than fill the holes. Tyrone has rotated about 12 different guys this year. Its not a major is...

Re: LHAC dumping BC after next year

This is not surprising that the LHAC would like to get rid of BC at this point. The current path they are on will either lead to them being as bad for a while or not having football in the future. I would imagine that the members are worried about them not fielding a team in upcoming years. The past...

Re: Upset in happy valley

PSU got hammered by Michigan who runs a prostyle offense and ran downhill at them for most of the game. PSU has small DE's who are quick as edge rushers. Ohio State puts their offensive tackles on an island in pass pro and the PSU edge rush got the better of them. Especially in the second half. If ...

Re: Private school success

I dont believe we will see all 3 as top teams together at the same time. Johnstown area is dying, so that means less kids will be there along with jobs leaving. Parents wont be able to afford to send thier kids to BM as often. Now in the mean time they have enough support and donors they will succed...

Re: Recruiting (inside and out)

Winning cures all ills. When you are winning, have a great team it is easier to get kids to want to play for that team. For teams with low numbers winning is possible with some great athletes. You hit on something though with the culture and that rings true in many areas. Lets use FH as an example. ...

Re: Central Cambria Football

As someone stated somewhat in an earlier post, you have to have the athletes to be successful no matter who the coaching staff Is. At Central Cambria they just don't have those type of athletes coming through the system currently and its showing in the Win - Loss columns. You are absolutly correct ...

Re: BC to forfeit?

Did anyone else catch that BC's AD has walked away or removed under suspicious circumstances? It seems like an odd situation that no one saw coming but could end up being a positive thing. He and the administration have been what has been the downfall of the program. Maybe if the other shoe drops a...

Re: How to beat BG?

I have not watched BG in person this year, from the highlights they are still very big up front, have bigger backs and throw the ball well enough. Where they are really good is on defense, thats where you have to beat them. Either by being bigger, which I haven't seen any A schools that will be or y...

Re: Central Cambria Football

Shane McGregor would be a good head coach, if he was interested in being the head coach. But I don't know if that's the case. I don't think you can say if it's a coaching problem or a personnel problem, it's not like CC was expected to do big things this year.  As for numbers, Crimson said it, they...
