Re: College Football Week Three Open Thread
If Houston goes 13-0 they will be in the playoffs, provided there aren't 3 other undefeated teams. Which is better, winning against a bad team or losing to a good team? SEC will have a team in, ACC will have a team in, BIG10 will have a team in then its between Houston and a PAC12 team to round off ...

Re: College Football Week Three Open Thread
Huston returned 23 part or full time startes from last seaon, they had big wins last year with thier only loss coming when Greg Ward Jr. was out with an injury. They started with a big win over Ok. and I fell with all we know about teams after 2 weeks, its fair to rank them in the top 10.

Re: Actually Heard This...
Pitt was the better team yesterday. States defense didn't adjust well to motion and it really hurt them. State on offense , the oline was still pretty shakey at times. Pitt used their running game well and went roll out play action off it to get big plays and touchdowns. As a Penn State fan depth at...

Re: BC to forfeit?
BC's coaching staff all left last year at the end of the season, they wanted to move to a diffrent conferance and to help protect the kids that do play. The AD who in the paper said they belong in the LHAC and brought a whole new staff in to get more kids out, to improve the culture. BC was bad last...

Re: James Conner
Thread about a hear-say incident with a dead football coach from 40 years ago gets 60 replies. Story about a current football player (that happens to be really, really good) beating cancer gets 2 replies. Aren't sports fans great???? I get what you are saying. However the 2 things have nothing in c...

Re: NBA All Star Break Power Rankings
Boston has the best coach in the NBA. Golden State is by far the best, they make it look easy. Cleveland should be the favorites from the east just like you said. I wish the NBA was fun to watch on a nightly basis. The only games i would even consider tuning into are the games between the best.

Re: Signing Day 2016
Looks like Pitt flipped PSU recruit Aaron Mathews. Seems PSU wanted him to play defense, Pitt offered him a WR position. As a PSU fan that sucks but its good to see he went to PITT at least. I've watched him play live twice and on film several time. He looked better at safety than as a reciever. Bu...

In my opinion, with the athletes that Tyrone has on a yearly basis they need to switch to more of a Spread or Hybrid Wing-T style of offense. The Pro Style I works exceptionally well if you have a HUGE offensive line (99 & 04 Tyrone teams) or a stud at QB (11 Franco's Son) but that doesn't happ...

Re: Ridicuolosly Early HS Football Power Rankings
I predict FH will be 7-3 I think that might be a little high but close. I would say they go 5-5 and at best 6-4. I think they lack a big and strong enough line on both sides to lose a game or 2 they shouldn't. They Should beat a few of the teams easily and pick up a free win against a BC team that ...

Re: The Importance of a Great Quarterback...
Looking at this is very interesting. I would say that having a top QB does make a difference. But i would still say about 9)% of these teams won because of their defense. Brady and Ben both won Super Bowls early in their career because of defense. Manning finally got a SB win when they had a good ru...
