Here are some facts: Between all classes the D6 (or combo) playoffs consist of 22 teams. Of those 22 teams 21 are public schools and 1 is a private school. I like the comparison of percentages but I think if that was a requirement you would see private schools bump their non athletic enrollment to even things out. I do like the idea of adding classes. You make it sound like the private school principal can just walk across the street to a public schoo...

If memory serves me the 1991 team was pretty darn good as well. They ended up losing in the district final but i think that was due to several late season injuries to key players.
