Re: Berlin vs Windber

Even more than the last 2 games, who has JV beat? Bellwood may not be quite as strong as they have been some years but that’s still a very quality win. I think this game will be very competitive. The last few years JV has done extremely well in the playoffs against Westpac opponents. We shall see… ...

Juniata Valley from the ICC may disagree with that... They travel to Windber this week.

Perhaps more a renewal than new but how about BG vs Bellwood? That’ll be fun….

Re: UPDATE ON ICC

Well if it were true, I'd figure obvious choices for full time sports would be Bald Eagle Area, Huntingdon, Penns Valley, and Phillipsburg. How they would split the conference for sports would be the next question. South has 7, North has 6 right now. Would Williamsburg go south and then the other 3...

Re: Moving up in class

In regard to Guru 's post, BG has 7 success points (6 is the requirement), and 6 transfers listed on their past 2 eligibility lists (3 is the requirement) over this past 2 year cycle, so yes they should have to bump up. Thanks. Where does one see this info? Is it online? Wondering about if these tr...

Re: Moving up in class

Great question. I wondered that as well. Also curious about BG. The announcer when they played Homer Center said BG was moving up to AA next year like it was a known fact. The announcer in the state final said he thought that as well but a few BG people I know say that’s news to them…. Anyone know f...

Re: BG Canton

Everybody here feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but every school has a tuition program which allows students from outside the district to attend. That means the Southern Hunt kid passed 4 or 5 districts where his parents could have paid to send their child. 1 of which BG just geat in the D6 f...

Re: BG Canton

The 3 new names on their roster you speak of were natural break transfers, which mean they transferred after 8 th grade prior to 9th Isn’t that really the point though? I don’t think BG actively goes out and recruits anyone. That’s just ridiculous really…. The issue is that it’s simple for a “natur...

Re: PIAA Classification Craziness....Coming Soon!

That is what I have been wondering too Earl. And I agree with you coach and roadie, it is a shame that you can throw a co-op together one month before the season starts with really good players from two schools, and still remain Class A. And there's another local school that just decided to have a ...
